I stenciled some roses, and got a stripe of lace - used spray mount and suck it to the canvas and spray painted!

Saved Bust

I saved this bust from the landfills! well - someone at work was going to throw it out and my cubemate wanted to keep it. I took it home and made it a little more interesting! I love to stencil and spray paint!

For Kelly

KW asked me to do a painting for her friend Kelly - Here is the start... i dripped paint on the canvas. There are several layers of that - today I laid down a stencil, spray painted it, then did a light wash of black paint. Tomorrow I will work on it some more!

Hoarder

JA asked me if I collect and hoard... so I wanted to show where I create my pieces... here is my desk, I do collect and hoard, but in an organized fashion ;) love to label... every month I clean out to make room for "new" (to me) stuff!

Hub-B's an artist too!

Yes - I married an artist too! He made me this. Leather is the theme for the traditional 3rd Wedding Anniversary. B used a cigar box, pasted pictures of us, white washed it, cut out the number 3, the birds and heart are made out of leather. Amazing!

KW wanted a painting... I had started this one, 3 years ago... and I finished it, added her favorite quote... I love including text in my pieces...

Love Paddington Bear! I built a box, spray painted the outside, covered the inside with paper and took a small frame from Aaron Brother's - and there you have it, a place to admire Paddington!

My Favorite

Here is one of my favorite pieces. The frame picture is of my dad walking along the beach. The bottles were purchased at the Long Beach Antique Market (every 3rd Sunday of the month - my favorite place to find treasures!) The candle jar on top was given to me. The little jar on the left (with the dried flower from the garden) is from the plug in air freshener. I made the ceramic pelican...he's cute.
